Atholl House

Atholl House in Chelmsford town centre is where you can get face-to-face help and advice for all your housing enquiries. Our Customer Services Assistants will be happy to help you, and there's no need to make an appointment - just drop in!

A private interview room is available for confidential advice if you need it and a children's play area will occupy the little ones.

Staff at Atholl House can help you with a variety of housing management queries including your rent account, housing benefit advice, housing allocations, and reporting repairs. You can also:

check the 'Swap-Shop' mutual exchange house files
visit our welfare benefits expert at the drop-in surgery on the first Tuesday of every month
use the internet-connected PCs
use the Customer Resource Centre
visit PROACT at their weekly drop-in centre on Wednesdays (PROACT is a community-based organisation working in partnership with us. They represent black and minority ethnic groups and help to improve access to a range of services by building life skills. Contact them direct on 01245 252471)

Customer Resource Centre

Our Customer Resource Centre, just off the main entrance to Atholl House, is there for you. Two internet-connected PCs can be used free of charge (for limited periods). Printers and photocopiers can also be used and are charged at 5p per sheet. You can also use the resource centre to look for bargains - we have a Buy and Sell board which you can view at any time.
