CHP Charitable Trust gives £2000 Boost to Y-Fest

CHP Charitable Trust gives a £2,000 grant towards the running costs of Chelmsford's 2005 YMCA's Y-Festival.

Young people at the YMCA are planning even more activities for this year's Y-Fest at Central Park and are expecting over 1000 young people to attend each day from 16-18 August 2005. The activities this year include:

  • Battle of the Bands
  • A talent and fashion show
  • Ramp competitions
  • Art workshops
  • Five-a-side competitions - with NACRO
  • DJ for all 3 days

Dennis Laws, Chairman of CHP Charitable Trust, presented the cheque to Rowena Kerslake of Chelmsford YMCA. Dennis said: "It's a pleasure to support such a great event for the young people of Chelmsford, and we hope it will continue for many years to come"
