Daisy's 100 years CHP's 1000th Kitchen

Daisy Penkman recently had a surprise 100th Birthday Party, at Alexander Court. Dennis Laws Chairman of CHP presented Daisy with a bouquet of flowers and milk chocolates - not only is Daisy 100 years old but she is CHP's eldest Resident to receive a kitchen and this was CHP's 1000th kitchen to be installed on their modernization programme.

Daisy's Kitchen was completed just two weeks before Daisy's 100th Birthday.

Daisy said: "My new kitchen is really wonderful, it's much better than before. It's lighter and more spacious - As for my birthday it was a lovely surprise, I was quite overwhelmed so many people turned up - it was a truly wonderful morning."
