About CHP
Based in Essex's county town of Chelmsford, Chelmer Housing Partnership is a not-for-profit housing association. We are one of approximately 2,000 housing associations in the UK who exist to provide affordable housing to rent and buy. Established in March 2002, we have a growing portfolio of affordable homes in Essex and take most of our nominations from local councils.
We work closely with residents and various statutory and charitable agencies to constantly improve the services we provide. These include tackling anti-social behaviour and improving quality of life, providing flexible care and support for the elderly, and an extensive programme of improvements and modernisations.
